CAMP OBJECTIVES

The Red Raider Football camp will offer student / athletes the ability to develop skills and techniques associated with all phases of football.

ELIGIBILTY

Camp will be open to all student/ athletes entering grades 10 – 12 in September 2013 and live in the Fairport Central School District.

TENTATIVE DAILY SCHEDULE

• Movement Drills
• Individual Position Technique Drills
• Group & Team Period
• Specialty Period

RULES & REGULATIONS

1. All valuables must be secured with a staff member.
2. Report well groomed.
3. Exemplary conduct is expected.
4. Medication or injuries must be reported to a member of the camp staff.
5. Each participant is financially responsible for any damage caused by vandalism or “horse play”.
6. No one is allowed to leave the FHS campus without permission.
7. The Camp Director reserve the right to expel any individual who fails to adhere to camp procedures with out refund.

EQUIPMENT

The athlete needs to bring the following equipment:

• Helmet (school issued & collected)
• Shoulder Pads (school issued & collected)
• Mouth Piece (provide your own)
• Cleats
• Sneakers
• Red Shorts
• Grey Shirt

FACILITIES

All camp activities will be run on the Fairport High School campus, located on Ayrault Road in Fairport, New York.

In addition, the staff will include members from each of these schools' coaching staff. This will insure a great player to coach ratio and ensure proper instruction.

• Mouth guards are required, but the camp will not issue them.
• No lower body equipment is needed.
• Please note the camp will not provide equipment for players.

CAMP OBJECTIVES

• To offer a well balanced and structured conditioning program.
• To enhance agility and speed.
• To develop sound fundamental skills relevant to the game of football.
• To develop camaraderie and rapport among football players from Modified B to Freshman level.
• To develop specific skills necessary to successful participation in football.
• To develop an awareness of current new rules for high school football.
• To help each player properly prepare for the impending high school football season.

ELIGIBILTY

TENTATIVE DAILY SCHEDULE

Final Registration: Monday August 12 at the Fairport High School. For all Pre-registrants and late registrants.

Daily Schedule: Monday - Wednesday 4:00-6:30pm on the field.

EQUIPMENT

Each participant must provide sneakers, cleats, socks, red shorts, grey shirt, athletic supporter, mouth piece. Athletes should contact their coach for a football helmet. Athletes will be issued helmets at registration, if they do not have one.
